Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do when using the Sternexus platform. It supplements our Terms of Use. Breach may result in suspension or termination of access and, where required, reporting to authorities.
Sternexus is a financial technology platform operated by Sterling Quantum SL. Sternexus is not a bank, electronic money institution, payment institution or investment adviser, and does not hold client funds. Regulated financial services are provided by authorised partner institutions where applicable.
1. General principles
You must use Sternexus lawfully, honestly, and in good faith, and must not use it in any way that harms the platform, other users, partner institutions, or third parties, or that places Sterling Quantum SL or its partners in breach of legal or regulatory obligations.
2. Prohibited activity
You must not:
- provide false, misleading, incomplete or fraudulent information, including in onboarding, KYB/KYC or compliance evidence;
- use the platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, bribery, tax evasion or any criminal purpose;
- use the platform to evade sanctions, or to act for or on behalf of sanctioned persons, entities or jurisdictions;
- attempt to circumvent, disable or interfere with compliance, security or verification controls;
- misuse Sternexus Verified™ status or Transaction Evidence, including misrepresenting their meaning or scope;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the platform’s integrity or availability;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any person;
- use the platform other than for legitimate business purposes by an authorised corporate user aged 18+.
3. Data and content responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any data or documents (including personal data of directors, beneficial owners or representatives) and that your submissions are accurate and lawful. You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory or that you are not authorised to share.
4. Use of AI features
AI-assisted features support analysis, organisation, extraction and risk review only and do not make final compliance decisions. You must not rely on AI outputs as a substitute for your own compliance judgement, and final decisions remain subject to human review and applicable partner requirements.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
We may monitor use for security and compliance, and may investigate suspected breaches. We may suspend or terminate access, preserve and disclose information where legally required, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities or partner institutions.

Versioning & changes
This document is version 1.0, last updated 24 June 2026. We may update it from time to time. When we do, we will revise the version number and date shown above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
